As we sit here each second an acre of rainforest is destroyed. Each and every day we lose 137 species of plant, animals, and insects. This means we lose 50,000 a year. 50,000 species extinct- gone forever. If the destruction continues the way it does the rainforests will be in History books in a century. Also if the rainforest disappears we will lose an abundance of the foods we enjoy today, along with some sures for diseases. The rainforest is home to more species than the rest of the world put together. Without the rainforest we wouldn't be able to enjoy things such as mangoes, avocadoes, cinnamon, etc. Please put this into consideration.
