This may be too early, but...

    PREDICTIONS!!!!!!

    Men:
    Gold: Plushenko, most likely
Silver: Lambiel (though if he skates well, I'd put him ahead of Plushy)
Bronze: prolly a toss-up between Joubert, Klimkin, and Lindemann

    Ladies:
    Gold: Slutskaya, hands down
    Silver: Sokolova
Bronze: no idea, prolly either Liashenko or Pöykiö (she always seems to come out of nowhere and end up in the final 6)

    Pairs:
    Gold: T/M
    Silver: Pet/Tikh
    Bronze: S/S

    Dance:
    Gold: N/K
    Silver: G/G
Bronze: C/S, most likely, but it's really a fight between them , D/S, Del/Scho, and Dom/Shab (too many European dance teams w/ D/S names!!! lol )

I generally agree with those predictions I think, though I don't think Lambiel can beat Plushy. I think Klimkin will get third. And I would put S/S ahead of P/T

Yea, Ira, Plusenko and Lambiel...Navka-Kostomarov, Grusina-Goncarov...Totmianina-Marinin,Petrova-Tihonov...yes,and what about Obertas-Slavnov???
And everybody's forgeting one so important thing: CAROLINA KOSTNER!!!!! She can win a medal, too!!! If she does that 3-3-3 combination, with all that speed and beautiful choreography! Go,go,Caro!
Joubert? He has no chance for Gold!
Still I think that best skaters are:
    LADIES:
Ira, Sokolova, Liashenko, Poykio, Costner, Sebestyen
    MEN:
Plusenko, Lambiel, Van Der Perren, Klimkin, Lindemann
    PAIRS:
    Totmianina/Marinin, Obertas/Slavnov,Petrova/Tihonov,Zagorska/Siudek and German couple
    ICE DANCERS:
    Navka/Kostomarov,Grusina/Goncarov and a French couple

Why did Kostner miss the Europeans last season? I hope to see her perform well this year, because she was awful in her GP assignments. With all the pressure on her as torch-bearer at the Olympics, a good performance here is crucial!

My predictions are not radically different:

    Men -
    Plushenko
    Lambiel
    Joubert

    Women -
    Slutskaya
    Sokolova
    Liashenko

    Pairs -
    T/M
    S/S
P/T (maybe/hopefully upset by O/S but I'm not counting on it)

    Ice Dance -
    N/K
    G/G
    Den/Sta (?)
