Both Eurosport (Nicky) and RTV (Ilia Averbukh) felt that C&S were robbed and that D&S were gifted. Here's an aricle from Jpost.com:

1. Judges always gift the home team (just remember ice dance at Dortmund!)

2. If feel C&S have been robbed ever since the aftermath of the 2002 Worlds scandal. I did feel their bronze there was unfair, but their placements in general have been too low ever since.

1. Agree completely. You could argue that it's not just dancing that gets a gift from the home crowd (Stefan vs Stephane).

2. Also agree 100%.

3. So, do you think that the Italians (F-P&M) will be gifted at the Olympics too?
