Predictions, anyone?

I'm just trying to get into the spirit of this competition. My top-five picks in each category:

MEN

1. Oda (JPN) I just adore this kid...esp. his Kiss n'Cry reactions!
2. Weiss (USA) he'll try to go out with a bang
3. Savoie (USA)
4. Young (Can)
5. Nakaniwa (JPN)

LADIES

1. Nakano (JPN)
2. Liang (USA)...the Ice Diaries cameras will be around to record this, I'm sure
3. Yan Liu (China)
4. Taylor (USA)...with her hot-pink Hummer
5. Hawker (Can)

PAIRS

1. Langlois/Hay (Can)...I have a feeling that they're due a big win soon!
2. Inoue/Baldwin (USA) may win if they pull-off 3-axel again
3. Hinzman/Parchem (USA)
4. Wakamatsu/Fecteau (Can)
5. Li/Xu (China)....well, because they're Chinese!!!!!

DANCE

1. Belbin/Agosto (USA)...is there any doubt?????
2. Matthews/Zavozin (USA) if they stay upright
3. Virtue/Moir (Can)
4. Silverstein/O'Meara (USA)...although they have the quality to beat my #s 2 & 3
5. LeFevre/Markov (Can)

I predict that the US will win at least two medals. Definately in dance and more than likely (hopefully) in men's. Hopefully also in pairs.

It's too bad that all the big comps have to be in the US or Canada in the same year as Nats was close enough for me to drive to. I would've loved to be able to go to 4Cs this year. Anybody have any ideas of when it will come back to the US? My luck it'll be in '09, espically if Nashville gets Worlds that year. I'll take either though.

Oda will win and become the next Plushenko of figure skating.
