The ISU homepage now features the announcement and for all of those who have been wondering, there are now 3 pairs and dance entries for each country.

Not really. The regulations for Pairs and Ice Dance are different.

PAIRS
There are only 4 events (Hungary, Norway, Taipei, Czech Republic) that will feature Pairs, and countries other than the host country can enter THREE Pairs in each event. Each host country has no limit on the number of Pairs that can be entered.

DANCE
Every country can send ONE dance team to every event, except that the following countries can send TWO teams to every event: Canada, Estonia, Italy, Russia, USA. Each host can send 3 dance teams to its event.
