Way Too Long...

Way too long....Now I understand why some of the Canadian Athletes were bowing out of attending the opening ceremony. It is a bit much to land there, suffer from jet-lag, attend a long drawn out ceremony and then be bright and chipper for ones' event the next day. I think the opening ceremony should be brief and to the point. The closing ceremony can be the big event.

Personally, I liked Salt Lake City's Opening Ceremonies better. I love to watch the Opening Ceremonies because bring in the Olympic spirit. I thought the Ferrari part was a bit much, they really could have done without that. I love the Parade of Nations! I also loved it when Peter Gabriel sung "Imagine" and all the athletes and people from all over the world joining together, like the song describes!
