Can anyone tell me the significance of the 'vine' design on the Russian Team jackets?

I was wondering the exact same thing! It's always on their team uniforms every single year and every Olympics.

that's assuming he doesn't already HAVE one...

they look identical to the ones in 02... or am I nuts?

Thanks for the links. But, I haven't begun my Russian language class. Currently, German, French and Romany, Hungarian and Italian I read. Russian is no where close.

Care to translate something for us?
