I wonder how come...

...synchronized skating isn't a part of the winter olympics. Afterall, synchronized swimming is a part of the summer olympics. I think that it would be really cool to watch as I don't really get to see it on TV only once in a blue moon.

Any thoughts?

I know therre is a process that a sport goes through before being declared an Olympic sport. I think it has to be an exhibition sport first and then a committee decides whether or not it becomes an Olympic sport. Syncro swimming has been around longer. I think syncro skating will make it eventually.
