I am finding it a bit hard to believe that Johnny only beat Lambiel by less than 1 point. Johnny was great and I thought that Lambiel was pretty shaky. His spins weren't up to his normal high standards, he doubled his 3A, and the landings on his quad combo were both cheated. Johnny was nice and clean and deserved his PB score.

The British figure skating Eurosport commentators could teach Scott and Dick and Peggy and Terry about tongue-in-cheek commentary with smooth transitions (pun intended).

I was thinking the same. I hate to get paranoid about these thing but....it makes me wonder if Europeans get some sort of 'extra style points' just for being European of birth! Eastern Europeans get an extra 10% above even Western Europeans! Hey - maybe that's why Johnny was wearing a Russian jacket the other day? ha-ha

childfreegirl - THANKS for your postings. I'm scooting in & out of 'coverage' too...also busy on other stuff. Multi-tasking here!

Oooh....popped out of 3 lutz but seems to have done OK on his earlier jumps.

The Eurosport guys said: "Last 45 secs were 'under water'!"
