Oh, what a shame that he fell once and had a hand down on the second quad! All of his combinations were beautifully executed, though, and he usually struggles with those. Overall it was good but I feel like his spins are slower, for the most part, than last year and the year before. I hope it's good enough for the podium...

I can't believe Plushy's final score. Is anyone that much better than the rest? Love the guy, though, and am glad for his inevitable win.......42

Oh....
Johnny Weir - Otonal Yeah, Johnny!!!!!!!!!

***starting piano music****

3 ax - 3 toe!!! FABULOUS!!!!

2 axel...no quad...seems to be changing his program...

3 salchow

3 axel (problem? hard to understand...no applause....)

3 loop BEAUTIFULLY landed

3 lutz..fought through that one...didn't put planned 3 toe onto it

little stutter....3 flip ("oh my goodness" "making it up as he goes along, I think...")

moves in field - glorious footwork...spirals...

end - HUGE CHEERS! "What an interpreter he is. He looked at what Lambiel did or didn't do...so a virtually clean performance, to get on podium. But - the magic not there." say Simon & Chris.

4th only!!!!! awww....Evan ahead of Johnny!

BOOOS!!!!!! JUDGES REALLY DINGED HIM!!!!!!!

I'm just quoting the Eurosports commentators from the UK....

I know, I was just disagreeing with the commentator. It was good enough for Gold in this competition, but it was not a special performance for me.

No way should Plushy get PCS 9 points higher than Lambiel.

Barb says that the program he is doing is very different from the one that they have on paper, and he has only done one combination.
Will he use his eighth jumping pass?
NO! JOHNNYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY.
He left a whole jumping pass on the table, AND two combinations! What was he thinking?

Oh my! The camera just closed-up on Johnny at the end of his skate and I'm pretty sure he said the F word.

Poor guy! And Evan made up over a 20 point deficit in the SP. Man I love COP!!! Johnny should have done some easy 3-2-2 sh!t combos to make up the ground.
