He had a good skate but noway does he deserve PCS scores anywhere near Buttle, Lambiel, or Weir. As we saw with Zhang/Zhang pity marks are common in these Olympics. I will give him his due though, he did have a great skate, unlike most of the others.

I am too. His short program suits his style better. His FS is alot of rehashed rerun material.

I can't agree with you more...oh Johnny!!!!...I'm going to watch on TV tonight but reading all of this just makes me so spazzy...Did Johnny really totally ditch an entire jump combo and 2 spin combos?....please elaborate

He's sixth! Aww too bad for him. They're saying that he most likely didn't get credit for the 3F-2T because the double toe might have been considered a separate jumping pass.

3 luts - 3 toe good!!!!

axel again & must be in combo....not quite on 3 toe (2 foot)

3 loop off axis but OK

3 lutz solo - clean as whistle

footwork gorgeous!!! very high quality (lev 4 usually)

spirited skating - energized - looking good!

3 flip - 3 sal!!!


into last footwork to majestic piano music: WOW!!! WOW!! WOW!!!! audience clapping along on that

last chords - GREAT!

Chris: "I think so, Mr Takahashi!" Anything can happen, though. He was only half a pt ahead of Buttle after the SP...Buttle got 154.30 in free. it will be touch & go. let's see.
