LOL Grgranny. At least bad spelling can't be heard -- poor grammar and word usage can grate on nerves while listening to the radio or TV, too. And there's plenty to grate.

Thank you, Granny! The whole "definately" thing makes me want to scream. I also feel the same way about the improper use of there/their and to/too.

This part of the country is not good for good grammar. I tried to get my boss at an insurance company to quit saying you was and similar errors but it made him so nervous when talking to a customer he had to quit trying. At least, he tried.
