Rosaleen, do you think was Kozuko overmarked in the LP?

I haven't really had time to think about it yet, possibly a little but he definitely did enough that he should have been in 1st - so maybe the margin is a bit big but the placements were correct. If there was any over-marking, I felt that it was that Ponsero's components marks were high.

Thanks Rosleen! We don't get to see Jr.worlds on TV, so it is great to read the reports.

i was very much impressed with Yannick Ponsero in either Skate America or Skate canada or both. Not surprised here with the juniors.

Umanov got himself a big prize! good for him.

The Japanese men seem to be keeping up with the Japanese ladies (may be not quite, but they are on the way up). Two Japanese men in the top 5 is pretty impressive.

Nice to hear that the second place Russian was coached by Urmanov.

Urmanov is one of the few Russians that stayed in Russia instead of migrating to the west. It's a nice reward for him.

I remember watching him skate a nice SP at NHK trophy.

But this is a disappointing result for him to only get a Bronze after Silver last year. He went from a 1st place SP to a 7th place LP.

  Stephen's fourth! I'm so glad for him.

Thank you again for the play by play, Rosaleen. I'm reading these and wishing I could see them all in person.
