I was wondering who Nikolai Morozov is working with this coming season? I heard that Gregory/Petukhov left him, I also hear that Lefebre/Markov left him. Who is he left with now? Is he going to be working with Kevin van der Perren anymore? Brian Joubert perhaps? Anyone new? Thanks in advance.

OK I realized I made the thread title sound rather salacious. I didn't want it to come off that kinky now did I? ;)

Joubert will work with Kurt Browning.

Miki Ando will work with Morozov.

Chait/Sakhnovsky are now coached by Morozov/Bourne.

I didn't hear about Lefebvre&Markov leaving. Who did they go to?

Uhuh.. I might have read it wrong. Maybe they didn't leave Nikolai? I will go check my source to see if I am true or not.

yes Melissa and Denis did move on to other waters... I think the change will be good for them... no more cookie cutter morosov programs for them (not that they had bad programs... I adore their Romeo and Juliet, and their OD last season... I just miss seeing more choreography than the same stuff morosov does for 50 different skaters/teams lol)

One definite plum Morozov did was to light the fire under Kwan in 2003 with that footwork which she sold brilliantly. He gave her a touch of the bravura to give her a new title of Patinaje Assoluta!

A job which caught the eyes of coaches and competitors and soon everyone wanted to do Morozov footwork.

Actually, I think everyone wanted Morozov footwork after Yagudin's programs of 2001 and 2002.

I've never heard of L&M's new coach. Anyone know anything about him?

He competed for several years with Tara Doherty. His best result was at 2004 Nationals where he came in fifth with a 4th place in the FD. That same year was L/M's first season competing and they finished 3rd in all 3 segments.

He also is a technical specialist since 2005 nationals in London.

Here is their ISU bio that doesn't include their 2004 nationals result.
