June has been a cruel month - so many of the seasoned (I don't like to use old) actors leaving us.

This is sad news...but what a full life. There is always an emptiness when one of great ones leaves us...someday I will be looking back like my grandparents do...I wonder who I will remember that measures up to the great ones that we are losing today?

Thanks for sharing the news. I don't watch t.v. much, and I have been housecleaning all weekend with the computer music on, in my own little world.

Turner Classic Movies will air a marathon of Katharine Hepburn movies next week to honor the First Lady of Cinema, who died Sunday at 96. The 11-film, 22-hour festival begins at 6 a.m. ET/3 a.m. PT July 10 with Mary of Scotland (1936). Other featured films include The Lion in Winter, Bringing Up Baby, The Philadelphia Story and Guess Who's Coming to Dinner.
