A Canadian Skating Legend Passes Away

Skate Canada announced today the passing of Suzanne (Morrow) Francis.

Condolences to her family and friends. Ms. Morrow was always approachable and willing to speak very candidly with the athletes. In a sport that is hindered by such intrenched politics, Ms. Morrow's truthful (personal) opinions were an invaluable tool for many a competitor.

Thanks for this. She and her partner were a real part of Canadian pairs history and an inspiration for our future pairs. So sad to hear this news.

This is sad. If more judges were like her, we could have avoided the whole SLC debacle.
