And here are Rachael (1st) and Caroline (4th), with Megan Hyatt and Katrina Hacker, at 2005 U.S. Nationals (novice).

    Flying Pucks

Yes,indeed. But some enterprising person has attempted to change it to something more X rated. It is quite striking though when a pair does a throw in front of that sign!

That's pretty funny, not that that was done, childish to make that change, but funny what you said. Yet I would only give it a "R"

Doris - I got the music together with a series of kalaidescopic images. Any reason I did not get Rachel except for her music?

Joe, When you are missing either video or the audio for a film, it means that you're missing what's called a codec.

This file is in .avi format.

The best place to get most of the video codecs you will ever need is to download the free K-Lite codec pack:

    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...Codec_Pack.htm

    That should do it.

I spent a half hour downloading the Codec pack and still get only the kaleidoscope.

Is there anybody that would be willing to put the vid on youtube? I'm not on my home computer for a few weeks so I don't want to DL anything.

It's up to Doris P. who specifically requested at fsvids that her Liberty vids NOT be uploaded to youtube at this time.

BTW, there are lots of results and reports on Liberty at FSU -- here's the link to page 8 of the Liberty thread
    http://www.fsuniverse.net/forum/show...0&page=8&pp=15
and you can work your way backwards, if interested. I'm hoping to share some additional comments on Liberty and maybe last month's Broadmoor Open as well.

    Subject: Playing .avi files

    euterpe,
First I am assuming you have a Windows computer.
Did you install the K-Lite codec pack?

If you did, it should appear in your Programs List (from the Start Button)

Find the KLite Codec pack in the list. Let your cursor dwell over it. The bottom item in the Item list for the Codec pack is mplayerc. Start that program. It's media player classic and will play most files. Drag and drop the Rachel Flatt program onto the player. It will start playing. If you'd like to play bigger, choose the View option from the Toolbar and pick either Full Screen or 200%. To escape full screen mode, hit the Escape key.

    YouTube.

Youtube is a very big site, and I would prefer that the video not be loaded there.

    There are several reasons.
    1. You tube wants you to swear you have licensed the music from the original artist. I haven't. (granted nobody else reads youtube's copyright policy and posts all kinds of TV shows, but...)
    2. Liberty allows you to film the event, but doesn't want you either selling your vids or using them for marketing. That's now. However, they had a company paying to film the event, and if I were them, and were looking for infringement, I'd look on youtube first.
In 6 months, no one will care, but at this time, the company that paid to film hasn't posted their vids yet. I would rather not have the vids on youtube just now.

If you have a Mac, tell me, and I'll upload the original .mov file, which will play with Quicktime for you. However it's about 4x the size. .avi is the most space-economical format, which is why I am using it.

Doris - I just want to interject that I had no trouble with Rachel's LP. It was only the SP. I will follow your advice and see what comes up. thanks.

Thanks Sylvia for the Liberty results. I'm now looking forward to junior men and seeing Kanallakan and Cassar.

Joe, Just in case you can't get the .avi file to open, I have booted up my laptop and here is the Quicktime file of the SP (same format as the LP)

Sorry to put you to all this trouble!
