Unfortunately I was unable to get great shots of these awesome Dall Sheep, but they were really close to teh road so at least I got some shots. They're decent. It was very late at night, and while it's still light out, we were on teh wrong side of the mountain! LOL

Wonderful photos. What odd sheep - or have they been shorn? They look very frail, ghostly, and exotic on those mountain rocks.

Hey Toni, I heard that Dall sheep have their legs on one side of their body longer than the other. So there are clockwise Dall sheep and counterclockwise Dall sheep, and they can go around and around the mountain only one way. :biggrin:

they're wild and have not been shorn... Dall Sheep are not 'wooly' they have short hairs like moose, deer, etc...
