I'm not very good at these, but what the heck, I'll show 'em anyway! :)



I know this has a person in it, but it's not *really* the central focus.


This is on Summit Lake btw, and no I don't know which mountain that is in the back. lol


Tern Lake... really awesome part of the Peninsula!

these are just some of the many many many scenes on the 2.5 - 3 hr drive from my hometown of Kenai, Alaska to Anchorage, Alaska (where I live during school).

I keep looking at number 3 thinking, I want to camp now! Gorgeous land, and you did great capturing it.

funny thing is, there's no camping area on Tern Lake lol... it's where two important hwys meet (Spur and Seward :))

Bummer I can't camp there, but I guess that wouldn't be that great with the two major roads meeting there anyway. Still the pictures make me feel like camping, whether it is there or in another place. The serenity / recreation the pics convey are very alluring.

Even though Tern Lake doesn't have camping, there are many other gorgeous mountain lake locations that you can camp on...
