The problem with the threads is that they move on and less accessible.

Seanibu, just for fun, I decided to link some pictures of split type jumps!:

    A split jump:http://www.sashafans.com/media/galle...ds/long/14.jpg
(the difference between this and a falling leaf is that a split jump leaves the ice with an inside edge assisted toe pick, like a flip take off, whereas Michelle's falling leaf takes off an edge, like a loop jump. I don't know why, but Sasha bends the back leg, doesn't keep it straight like many do.)

This can be dangerous...for my job! But it's so much fun!

This is the Russian split jump. Both toes are pointing upwards and most imortant is the fanny sticking out.

This seems to be the classic split with fanny underneath the body but the back leg is not clear.

Looks to me like more of a 'pas de chat' than a stag.

That is a classic split. Note the back foot is lying on the ice and the front foot is pointing upwards. The fanny is underneath the torso. This is the position it should be for the 'classic' split jump or the ballet equivalent of a 'grande jete'.
