I repeat again that the death penalty was not being sought in this case. It was *not* an option. To continue to mention it in relation to Ms. Yates is irrevelvant. She would've been incarcerated for her lifetime in a prison hospital, such as the one that she was in originally. And it is truly more therapeutic than a minimum security state hospital. At least she would've had a chance for some measure of therapy beyond medication and arts & crafts.
