In the Dance, nice to see some familiar names of past competitors, retained or new:
Marika Humphreys, Sylvia Novak, Katerina Mrazova, Daniel Hugentobler, Francesca Fermi, April Sargent, aswell as older greats like Sergei Ponomarenko, Judy Blumberg, and Roberto Pelizzola.

I'm kind of surprised to see Judy Blumberg on the list. Tho last I heard, Cia Bordogna (the Italian judge who jobbed Blumberg & Seibert out of the bronze in Sarajevo) was still judging (but this was a few years ago); I wonder if Blumberg's in it just to get close enough to Bordogna to slap her one....

Well, the technical specialists don't work directly with the judges, but Blumberg has worked as alongside Sergei Ponomarenko, who was the beneficiary of that 1984 bronze, on some events as assistant technical specialist and technical specialist. Life goes on after 20 years.

Well said, gkelly. Thanks for putting things in persective.
[Though I appreciate the original comments were meant humourously]. :)

In some people's opinion this side of the Atlantic, we'd like to know why Delobel/Schoenfelder are continually left off the Podium in favour of Belbin/Agosto? But we have a moan, then move on......
