    My Ideal Place To Live

If it were not for the problem of having to support myself, I would love to live in Kaslo, BC. It's in the interior and the population is only about 1,000 people. I would love to get out of the "rat race" here on the coast. I am so sick of it. Oh well, it's nice to dream....

    Hi Ladskater

I too think Kaslo is a beautiful place. I have not spent any time there, other than passing through. How familiar are you with the interior? There is a beautiful community 30 minutes from Kamloops.... Logan Lake. It is beautiful. Population is 2200, nice and quiet, beautiful weather, and only 30 minutes on a terrific highway to get into the city. Add to that the fact that housing is very inexpensive, and voila, a beautiful place to live!

Thanks for responding. I don't know much about the place, but was reading an article about the town in a Beautiful British Columbia magazine. Just sounds like the place for me! Oh well, maybe someday I can take a trip up there and check it out.

My ideal place would probably be in the country, but just right outside a city...Halifax would be nice. Close to all my family, but not too close. Near the water, a lake maybe. A big yellow house with a wrap around porch and a tree house in the back. Dreams...
