I well remember Michael Slipchuck competing with Kurt and Elvis at the Canadian Championships. Michael was a very consitent competitor and always fun to watch. I remember when he won his Canadian National chamionship title in 1992 when Kurt had to withdraw due to injury. Michael has been appointed as the Skate Canada High Performance Director - a job he will do very well.
