Does anyone have any advice that would help my daughter stop two footing her double axel? She can do it really well on the harness but when she is off and tries it, it is two footed?

She has to be confident in her landing of the jump. It's more secure to use that second foot, however she shouldn't get in the habit of it. She needs to just go for it and know she can land it. Good luck.

There's a possibility that off the harness she's short rotation and in order to keep from falling, she needs the free foot to keep her stable. She probably needs to tighten up the rotation to clean up the jump and then she will be able to land it cleanly on one foot.
