    Ondrej Nepela

Today starts the 14th Ondrej Nepela Memorial in Bratislava (Slovakia).

We will see if Julia Sebestyen has overcome her last season crisis. Soon we will have the results of the SPs.

I noticed that the PCS scores are really low (they were low at the JGP events, too). It seems as if the ISU is telling the judges to bring the scores down to a more reasonable level.

I noticed that, too. What I really think they are trying to do is develop more consistency in the judging from one event to the next.

If so, they certainly succeeded with Julia Sebestyen's short program.

    Olympics TES 26.75, PCS 23.83, Total 49.58
    O. Nepela TES 26.63, PCS 23.25, Total 49.88

Just to mention that Ondrej Nepala is one of my favorite all-time skaters.
