Even after the Free Skate, she is still only 1 point behind. Had she not gotten that -1, she would have won.

Unfortunately Elene was a dissapointment in this competition. I hope that she will do better at the GP. I'm a fan of her.

Well, I didn't see the competition so I can't really judge. But I've seen her scores. In the SP she received -2 for the 3Lutz and the 3Flip. I remember that at Euros, Oly and Worlds in the SP she never had problems with these jumps. Than the FP was even worse (a -1 deduction for a fall, -3 for 2 Lutzes, just a 2Flip, negative GOE for the 3Sal and 3Toe2Toe combo that wasn't scored). Practically the only jump that went right was the 2Axel. As for the spins just a level1 Layback and same level for the Flying Camel. On the other hand she received a +1 for a Spiral sequence level4. Since I want the maximum from her, I'm not happy with this performance, because I know she is capable doing a lot more. So FORZA ELENE!!!!

Gedevanishvili hasn't had very many strong LP performances. She seems to be a short program skater, at least through KS.
