    Controversial Therapy Helps Melissa Gregory

    I found this article about Melissa Gregory. Apparently, she fractured the 2nd metatarsal in her left foot in late July. She then had laser surgery instead of having her foot in a cast. She is certainly one determined athlete.

    Wow. She is one tough cookie, with determination to spare. I just hope she didn't rush it too much getting on the ice after only four days. It would be a shame to push so ahrd for a grand prix event only to have to withdraw from Nationals or Worlds with a re-injured foot. I'll keep my fingers crossed for her that everything is completely healed and that she and Denis will have a wonderful season!

    Aside from a couple bobbles (mostly from Denis), they looked great at Campbell's so it must have done something to help her. That is a really interesting article and treatment though. I hope they have a great season!!

    From what I've heard her foot is doing well... she amazes me... the concussion two years ago, now this... she knows no pain! LOL!!!
