I saw this article about New York Giants running back Tiki Barber possibly pursuing a career in broadcasting. The reporter solicited opinions from a "sports attorney" at the NY law firm of Loeb and Loeb, which "represents athletes such as Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Michelle Kwan " (OK, the emoticon wasn't part of the article. )

According to the firm's web site, one of their clients is Tom Collins Champions on Ice, along with such notables as Major League Baseball and the PGA Tour.

I suppose that Michelle's business venture with East-West palace required quite a few trips to the lawyer's office for business. Perhaps Tom Collins recommended the firm to her.

It is also possible that the writer didn't understand that representing COI does not mean representing every skater who performs with COI.
