    ISU Grand Prix U.S. Television Coverage Update

    This announcement made today by U.S. Figure Skating's Director of Online Services, Laura Fawcett

    Please note the updated skating coverage information. The next three ISU Grand Prix Skating events have been moved from ESPN to ABC beginning with this weekend's telecast of the 2006 Cup of China. The times are new as well. Fans on the Pacific Coast, please check your local schedules for updated broadcast times.

    2006 Cup of China 11/19 4 pm-6 pm ET ABC

    Trophee Eric Bompard 11/26 1:30 pm-3:30 pm ET ABC

    2006 Cup of Russia 12/3 4 pm-6 pm ET ABC

    That's great news. I wonder if the shows were so popular on ESPN that they decided on the upgrade?

    Nice that they're on ABC, so people without cable can see them, but I'm disappointed that they've cut the coverage by an hour down to just 2 hours per event!
