Looks like a pretty consistent event for everybody.

Excellent result for Dubreuil/ Lauzon. Very consistent numbers with what they earned in the FD at Skate Canada....I think about a point difference? They seem to be right where they want to be in the scores....in the medal hunt.

In the report on the ISU page it says they changed some of the choreography in the FD as well to make it more difficult. Can't wait to see the new version.

Gregory/Petukhov made GPF on the second tiebreak over Khoklova/Novitski, because their combined total score for two events was higher.

The GPF Qualfiers are:
Denkova/Staviyki (30 pts)
Dubreuil/Lauzon (30 pts)
Domnina/Shabalin (28 pts)
Belbin/Agosto (28 pts)
Delobel/Schoenfelder (24 pts)
Gregory/Petukhov (24 pts)

Alternates are: Khoklova/Novitski (24 pts), Virtue/Moir (22 pts), Faeilla/Scali (22 pts).

 to Davis and White!!! From the ISU NHK Day 3 story

The 2006 World Junior bronze medalists were the only team to receive a level four for all eight elements of the Free Dance – the spin, the twizzles, the two step sequences and the four lifts.

Davis & White got the 2nd highest TES in the OD and the 3rd highest in the FD, both times ahead of G&P, but lost out in the PCS scores.

WOW!
