    Yea and nay

    Just wondering:

What skater did/do you enjoy who seemed/seems to escape much notice in comparison with big-name skaters (yea)? Also, who is/was a big-name skater that you never understood all the hullabaloo (nay)? I'll start:

    Yea: Matt Savoie

    Nay: Maria Butyrskaya

    Yea - Matt Savoie
Nay - don't like to get into that, but I'll say Philippe Candeloro (as a pro)

    Yea:

    pairs: Berenkova / Dlabola

    men: Klimkin, Abt, Savoie

    ladies: Meier, Onda

    Nay:

pairs: Totmianina / Marinin, Gordeeva / Grinkov (ducks)

    men: Plushenko, Stoyko

    ladies: Yamaguchi, Baiul

claification note about nays: They're all great skaters and competitors, I just usually enjoyed other competitors a lot more.

    I triple that. I loved Matt's skating.

I use to love Phillippe's skating, he was innovative. When he turned pro, he turned me off. The program that did me in was George of the Jungle, skating in speedos put the clencher on it for me. I was turned off because I think it showed a lack of respect for the sport, just my opinion.

I don't have a yea or nay but I do have a new favorite log-in name. Welcome, Seven Costanza!
