The ladies category wasn't very exciting except for Anne-Sophie Calvez who did pretty well. She is qualified for the Europeans.

The men category was a big tensed battlefield. Joubert, Préaubert and Ponsero are qualified for the Euros.

The pairs are slowly building up. Yannick Pla was injured (surgical operation of the thumb 3 weeks earlier) skating with a plaster and he had to use his other hand for lifts... Pla/Bonheur couldn't be up to their level yet. And Canac & Coia for a few months old pair are improving through competitions. Those 2 couples are qualified for Euros.

In dance, the field was limited but had a very nice level. Delobel/Schoenfelder easily won while Péchalat/Bourzat and Carron/Jost battled for the 2nd step of the podium. Delobel/Schoenfelder and Carron/Jost (3rd) will go at Europeans. Péchalat/Bourzat (2nd) will go at Worlds with Delobel/Schoenfelder.

i really don't understand why the french federation isn't sending Pechalat/Bourzat to both euros and worlds. they've had a decent season in the grand prix this year and the experience would be good for them and more likely to get france 3 teams in both euros and worlds.

Do you have any info about icedancer Eve Bentley? Will she be staying in France or returning to the UK? I guess she has stopped competing now?
