Vodka Shot - definitely take a look at Kurt Browning's work, he appeals to just about every skating fan in one way or another... he's very versitile...

All I've ever seen him do is that cowboy thing and I detested it. But, I'll def. check out his other stuff to see if I like any of it.:agree: I usually only like very lyrical, balletic type skating.

1. Definitely Tara Lipinski's SP and LP at the '98 Olympics. Especially her LP. I LOVE the music from that. Will always be my all-time favourite.

2. Joannie Rochette's LP Firebird from the 2005 Nationals. That was the best time I've ever seen her skate. If only she could skate like that at World's...

3. Kurt Browning's Singin' in the Rain.

4. D/L FD Somewhere in Time from World's '06. I saw it at Skate Canada last year and I had tears in my eyes. Also, their FDAt Last from this year.

5. S/P LP Love Story from '02 Olympics. Again, I had tears in my eyes (I'm such a sap!).

6. B/K Riverdance way on back...'97/'98 I think?

7. Cynthia Phaneuf's LP at Canadians in '04. Amazing...can't remember the name though.

8. Evan Lysacek's LP at the '06 Olympics. What a comeback!

That's all I can think of right now...

So many of the programs already mentioned are on my favorites list - M/D's Liberstraum being one of my all time favorites, and S/Z 2003 Turandot is just so emotional for me, i can cry just thinking about it -- but since I didn't see it on my quick read of this thread I'll say that Kwan's East of Eden is also among her many programs that I truly love and can watch over and over.

Given your tastes, for Kurt I'd check out stuff like Nyah, Singing in the Rain, Serenade to Sonia, Cavalleria Rusticana from You Must Remember This (that you can find on YouTube), Time in a Bottle, maybe Antares or Crash... Kurt's got a lot of dance influences in his skating (married to a ballet dancer and has had a few dancers as choreographers) but he rarely does straight-out balletic stuff.

You didn't catch "Easy", Kurt's first program at Ice Wars?
