Cleveland is a great city to visit!

Tourists should know more about why Cleveland is a great place to vacation.

World class institutions: the Cleveland Orchestra is one of the world's leading symphony orchestras. The Cleveland Museum of Art, which is finishing a major remodeling, has one of the leading collections in the world. (University Circle, where these institutions reside along side Case Western Reserve U., also boasts a Children's Museum, a Natural History and a historical society museum.)

The Rock Hall of Fame is downtown. It's neighbor, the Great Lakes Science Museum, has Imax movies and plenty to entertain you. The Inventors Hall of Fame is in Akron and the Football Hall of Fame is in Canton, both cities are not that far away that you couldn't include them in a Cleveland vacation.

Cleveland boasts one of the best public libraries in the nation.

Entertainment: downtown has the Quicken Loans Arena, which is the host arena for Nationals. One thing you won't see is the Cleveland Cavaliers. Quicken Loans Arena is their home. The Q is part of the Gateway district, which also includes its neighbor, baseball's Jacobs Field. Right off Public Square is a developing entertainment district centered on the new House of Blues. There is a bar/hi-tech bowling alley just opened and celebrity chef, Michael Simon (you might recognize him from Food Network) just opened a new restaurant there. I haven't had a chance to visit them yet. A few blocks away is the Play House Square, home of a group of theaters which host opera, plays and other events.

More entertainment is nearby in the Warehouse District and the Flats district. Cleveland usually attracts the big name groups and stars. Whether you are looking for jazz or blues, etc., you can probably find it here. And if you want to eat it, we have many cuisines for our varied population.

Now add our favorite sport! Besides, just how much time will you have left if you plan to actually see the competitions and even a few practices?

The Q is attached by an underground walkway to the Tower City complex. Tower City has shopping and a food court and is the hub of the RTA transit system. Wanna get to the airport? the arts institutions in University Circle? Or just get free parking while you take a train downtown for the competition? Cleveland's got that.

We can't wait to show you our hometown!
