<blockquote><strong><em>Quote:</em></strong><hr>"I think she was out of her league in #1"[/quote]Yes, it was perfectly clear that she was just going by things that she had heard other people talk about, but she didn't know anything about it herself.:)

That <strong>was</strong> perfectly clear, right? <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\">

Heyang, I agree, a very annoying show.....It looks like these three ladies go out of their way to ignore the guest host as much as possible. To her credit, Michelle was gracious and tried to interject comments when the other three "came up for air".........Now I know why I never watch this program and only watched it today to see Michelle........42

THIZfiyaVIETgrl,

Please do link the transcript when it's finished. The last time I watched this show was back in Dec, I think. Never watched it since.
I recently saw Starr's commericial for Pay less. The woman usually talks about wearing designer shoes and now she expects us to believe that she buys shoes from Pay less. Sometimes you can never understand these celeb's.

And ITA with you. Michelle was a breath of fresh air. :)

Excidra,
I can understand Starr Jones talking constantly about designer shoes and then pitching for Payless: More money with which to by more designer shoes:lol:

It really is an incipient show. Meredith Viera was once a correspondent for "60 Minutes" until the whole controversy over her wanting time to spend with her children. She's a talented journalist. What a waste. If men think women sit around and talk like this, no wonder they think they Harry and Sally could never be just friends. I wouldn't want to be friends with these silly women, meaning the regulars--although I generally like Joy Behar in other settings. I think the smartest thing Michelle did was not say much.

I won't watch this show again. I get the impression that Michelle, young and dating a hockey player, had been typecast into the Lisa role the girl that left was the young girl with the boyfriend with a tongue stud or nosering or whatever. That's why they would want her. As to why she wanted to be on, perhaps she likes this show?

If Lisa had to do what Michelle went through, seems to me the Lisa role is very similar to the Kelly/Kathy Lee role from Regis and Kathy Lee except here you have to sit with 3 Regises, and they aren't polite either. You are supposed to look cute, appeal to the younger set, and make dumb remarks.
No wonder the real Lisa left.

It was nice that all those MKF'ers got to sit right up front. Must have been great for them. Michelle said she even met MKF'ers in Hong Kong.

Re: Views

Lisa Ling left because she wanted to take a job a National Geographic. I think it's a wise choice b/c she is still young and has her whole career ahead of her. I used to watch Lisa Ling on Channel One news. Channel One News if a News program that every middle school and high school show in the mornings during homeroom. She was their foreign correspondent who went to places from the Middle East (in one country she wore a long-sleeved shirt and jeans and still had to cover herself up) to a small Asian island where they used slave labor and forced women to not get pregnant, etc.

That pic of Michelle is great. Over at MKF, they said that Joy got her make-up touched up a lot.

Re: Views

Ugh. I hate these types of shows. I think I've seen it before and I hated it, so even with MK on I couldn't be bothered to tape or watch it. I think I might wait for a transcript or something.

Re: Views

I happened to have it on a few times when I'm going over Golden Skate. It seems that Joy Behar has a problem with all guest hosts - not just MK. It's a show one can easily forget about. Nothing special there (and their opinions are not that different).

I don't think I would actually want to listen to them for an hour.

[sarcasm]Maybe "The View" needed another "token Asian" so it could feel like old times.[/sarcasm]
