Thanks Kasey! Can somebody tell me a little bit about this 'Lutai' guy? Is he a new comer? Don't think i've ever heard that name before, but if there's not too much inflation, 77.20 is a very impressive score for men's SP.

GO CUPCAKE!!!!! Hope the LP is "inspired."

Dom/Shab:clap:

I guess I am out of the guy following because IK is not where I was expecting anyway. Of course with the guys I just listen to mostly posters comments.... not that far out though.

Thanks for the updates!

Well, keep in mind the "nationals inflation factor"....Lutai had no quad, and his solo triple was a loop....Griazev (who I adore), had right at his personal best with a step out of a jump and "saved" landings on two others. So I would take the actual marks with a grain of salt....but the standings I am sure are still accurate. Very close betwee 2-5!

Absolutely new to me this Lutei. Hope he goes to Tokyo.

Can't wait for the LP scores.

visaliakid, thanks for your info, I'm sure first names was very useful for those who aren't in Russin skating.
The only correction which is crucial: Alexander Uspenski has withdrawn from the competition. The guy which is currently in 7th place is his younger brother Vladimir. I believe it's a very decent result for such a young skater.

Also Tretiakov's first name Ivan, Vitaliy Tretiakov is a well-known journalist, not a skater) and Leonova is Aliona, not Alina)

Sorry for intrusion:sheesh: :eek:hwell:

Well, Klimkin is only a point out of second....that's not bad for a fall. He can make it up in the long program.
