What an amazing venue for a show!!! I wish someone would broadcast the whole thing where we could see it.

Thanks for posting the link! I read from S/Z's interview that when they knew the show was outdoor, it was too late for them to find the right costume for the weather, Shen didn't take anything that she could wear under her costume and keep her warm. She took some medicine to prevent catching a cold instead

I particularly like Abt's Gasolina program! (ouch! on his final move. Groin pull anyone?) Abt should definitely go back to eligible competition, given the current state of Russian men's skating.

And this is definitely another side of Petrova and Tikhonov! They have really benefited by their experience on the Russian version of skating with the stars.

I said it before, Petrova and Tikhonov's program was my favourite. They will be very successful in pro shows since their lifts are just magnificent and innovative. It can create that excitement.

Do ladies usually have some kind of thick flesh-colored tights to wear when they skate outdoors? There was an outdoor Christmas tree lighting program here last month, and the skaters looked really cold.

Oh definitely. He could finally win his first Russian Nats, his first Euros and his first Worlds. At least for me he would.
