Hi! Long time lurker but first time poster. Well I have a burning question and hope to get some feedback here if no one in the MKF random chat replies. Here goes!


Do you get charged by the minute when calling a cell phone number from your regular phone service? My friend's AT&T bill seems to have gone up after having called her brother's cell more regularly than usual. Thanks if you can answer!

Hi lunarpool........welcome to GS......as for my own experience, my regular phone service (formally Pac Bell) does not charge me any more if I call a cell phone, then if I call someone on my home phone. I have three cell phones on my cell phone service (Verizon) and we can call each other without extra minutes being charged. To be sure, call ATand T to see what brought about the extra charges. Anyone else? 42
