Civil. If you want to take your opponent down, use a billy club.
What is the desired outcome. Destruction or growth? If the desire is to take them down, no need for debate, just kill them or not listen in the first place.
Well, I don't know. Are we actually PARTICIPATING in said debate, or are we just watching it on television??
Your skill in debate is directly proportional to how well you keep your temper. You can only level an opponent verbally if you keep your cool enough to plan your words well.
