A Return to Almost Normalcy

After three weeks of nothing but the war, it almost seemed normal tonight. I was watching tv and for about two hours there was not one mention of Iraq and the war on any of the channels I receive.

I don't understand why the forces have allowed all the looting and anarchy. They had to know it was coming and should have taken steps to prevent it, especially in places like banks and hospitals.

This type of thing happens anytime a regime is eliminated. Thing is, if coalition forces clamped down on it, they'd be perceived as enforcing a military occupation and trying to take over the country.

......it seems coalition forces are going to be damned if they do, and damned if they don't.

btw, Ladskater, I heartily agree. It was nice to kick back in front of the tube and escape for a bit.
