Considering the state of the women's skating in Canada, perhpas he should look to the States for a partner who would be willing to come to Canada to train. It worked wonders for Weaver and Poje (and Tanith and Ben).

I am not sure what you mean by "state of women's skating in Canada." I am sure Craig will be able to find a good partner right here in Canada. In fact, Canada has a great tradition of strong pair skaters. To name a few of the ladies:

Barb Underhill
Jamie Sale
Isabelle Brasseur
Barbara Wagner

All of these ladies are great skaters and have contributed to Canada's history of great pair teams.
