Spins: difficult variations.
Is this a difficult variation (of an Upright spin)?

That looks more like a difficult variation on a camel spin. I think a difficult variation on a upright spin would be swiching edges in a upright position, a Y-spin...maybe a headless scrach spin...

I think switching directions also qualifies as a difficult variation...Shawn Sawyer does them a lot.
