Good luck to you, Lad. May it go as painlessly as possible!

I'm going to the dentist this Wednesday too! I jokingly call it "The Filipino Torture Chamber" out of jest, because it's actually the least painful one I've been to in memory. Run by (for the most part) pretty-looking Filipino ladies, one who usually wears a dress with the image of Betty Boop all over it. Each room has a 20 inch mounted TV screen, giving the patient their choice of Canadian, American or Filipino TV. I don't understand a word of their language, but if you've ever seen the skimply-dressed lady handlers on a Filipino game show.....

Good luck, I'm sure it will go well. I've been in Invisalign braces for about 8 months, and it's the first time I've ever had any kind of major work done (okay, well I've had a few fillings and one crown and wisdoms removed). I guess the end makes the means worthwhile.![]()

Sure hope it all went well with a permanently fixed ending. I've had a lot of dental work over the years and can "feel" for you. Let us know.
Sounds like it went well, Lad. Hope you're feeling better each day.![]()
Well it has now been three days since the dental specialist treated my tooth. It was okay the other day, but now it is back to its usual dull ache. In fact tonight it feels worse than ever. I guess the "redo" did not work. My dental plans will not cover a root canal redo, so now I may be out about $1,000.00 out of pocket plus I will likey have the tooth extracted. It's been a painful experiece all the way around - not just my tooth, but now my pocket book. I guess I should have had the darn tooth pulled at the start. Who knew? I have had several root canals over the years and they have always been successful - that is until now....
Not a happy camper!

So sorry to hear that.On to the next step, I guess.
Well that is the way it is sometimes. I had several root canals on my bad tooth. It did last a few years. Finally, my dentist told me the tooth is just gone. I had to get it extracted and now I am getting some type of bridge work. I thought only old people had bridges. Oh well, believe me many others are in your situation.
