Just wanted to celebrate on Yukina Ota's courageous come back during the 2006-7 season.

Yukina won 2002 Jr. GPF, 2003 Jr. Worlds, and 2004 FCC.

She had not competed for a long time due to an ankle injury that is reported to be difficult to completely cure. During the 2006-7 season, however, Yukina decided to come back because she loves to skate. She made it to the Japanese Nationals and appeared in some ice show events.

I wish all the best in her health and hope she could continue to skate this coming season as well:)

Maybe she should try pair? Her singles career in Japan is quite dim since her jumps are not strong.

She tried ice-dancing but has decided to continue her career as a single skater.

Because lots of people were waiting for her to come back and because she has great presentation skills, I think that she could have successful career in future in ice shows if she continues to skate and lets her name more widely known.

...because she has great presentation skills,...
That was the main impression I received from watching / seeing her. I haven't seen to much - JapanSkates lead me to some info - but what I have seen, her personality seems wonderful - on / off ice. I hope the best for her in the ranks of Japan. She is nice to watch.

I agree. Although I know her only through performances and interviews, she has appeared to me to be a thoughtful young lady who loves arts. The way she speaks in interviews is very gentle, calm, mellow, and intelligent. Her performances are very expressive, but have some sense of serenity at the same time. I like people with such qualities so that I support her:)
