Two of the world's most celebrated opera stars, Renée Fleming and Bryn Terfel, will greet fans and sign copies of their new Decca CD Under the Stars at New York's Tower Records (66th and Broadway--across from Lincoln Center) on Monday, March 10 at 6:30 pm.
Under the Stars is a new collection of favorite Broadway songs and duets, produced by the legendary Phil Ramone. Broadway veteran conductor Paul Gemignani leads the Welsh National Opera Orchestra in new arrangements of music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Cole Porter, Rodgers & Hammerstein, and Stephen Sondheim, among others. A live concert version of Under the Stars is airing on PBS this month (see local listings for details).
