FRIDA and UNFAITHFUL

I recently saw both of these movies and found them to be excellent. The lead performances by women were both magnificent and they are both nominated for oscars - either would be a well-deserved winner IMO.

I haven't seen Frida yet, but I loved Unfaithful. I've never noticed Diane Lane before, but she really caught my attention. She totally deserved the Oscar nod!

I agree, both ladies did a fine job in Frida and Unfaithful but then there is Julianne @#%$ in Far From Heaven - another knockout female performance.

I still have to see "Far From Heaven" and "The Hours" before I can make up my mind on the oscars, but I think Selma and Diane Lane were fabulous. Renee was good in Chicago, but I preferred Zeta-Jones in that one. I've never noticed Diane Lane before either, I felt like I've never seen her before. When I go to write Selma I have to stop myself from calling her Frida.
