Parker Pennington is moving to Virgina to train with Audrey Weisiger. Like M Wiess before him talk of a quad lutz???? come on... i doubt it. what is it about Weisiger that makes the guys try quad lutzes? why not flips? loops? toes?

I'm not familiar with his skating, but maybe the lutz is his best triple jump.

In the article, he does say that his favourite jump is the lutz, and it was the first triple he got, so it kind of makes sense to have him work on that.

I've always tho't Parker had a lot of promise, more than his National results show so good luck to him with this change.

The funny thing about Michael Weiss's quad lutz (which he never got credit for) was that it's was really quite good (fully rotated, great take-off, good rotations) but he never managed to get his free leg out of the way to prevent two-footing the landing. Under CoP he would receive credit for that quad.

The Pennington article didn't say, so we'll have to wait and see. At least Ryan Bradley and Jeremy Abbott won't have to skate at Mids this year due to their top 5 senior finish at Nationals!
