Bebe Liang landed 3lutz-3loop in her FS at 2003 Nationals (it wasn't televised, unfortunately).

Oh, i cant wait some reports from this competitions. Maybe someone will be at Central Ontario Section's (COS) Summer Skate, August 16-19, Thornhill, ON?

Maybe she finds it easier to land the 3something-3R rather than the 3something-3T.
That's one of the faults with the CoP scoring system. Who says a lutz is more difficult than a flip? Probably on average but when I skated, the lutz was a piece of cake, and the flip was a very scary jump for me. That back inside edge was tough! So in CoP, I would have a little advantage today. Fair? you figure.

I may be able to attend on Saturday and possibly Friday night. If so, I'll definitely post a report. There's no senior mens on the actual event schedule - only on the competitors listing, so it lmay have been pulled.

I wonder why Bebe doesn't try 3lutz3 toe. Wouldn't that be easier to land?

Bebe's worst jump is the lutz.. and judging from practice sessions she is really comfortable with the loop. Therefore, flip/loop makes sense for her.

I hope Taylor Firth gets a JGP assignment. Those scores would have put her on the podium in the 2006 JGP.
