I wonder why Bebe doesn't try 3lutz3 toe. Wouldn't that be easier to land?

That's one of the faults with the CoP scoring system. Who says a lutz is more difficult than a flip? Probably on average but when I skated, the lutz was a piece of cake, and the flip was a very scary jump for me. That back inside edge was tough! So in CoP, I would have a little advantage today. Fair? you figure.Maybe she finds it easier to land the 3something-3R rather than the 3something-3T.
There's also Skate Chautauqua, August 17-18, in Jamestown, NY:

This is Taylor Firth's home club and she is scheduled to compete in Senior Ladies (her previous competition was Liberty in July). Traighe Rouse is listed for a Senior Men's FS exhibition.
If anyone attends any of these competitions, feel free to share results/news/highlights/ impressions!

Did you go to Skate Chautauqua, PAskate? If yes, any comments on the skating?I may be able to attend on Saturday and possibly Friday night. If so, I'll definitely post a report.
I saw her skate at Middle Atlantics last year, and she is quite good but she is also erratic.I hope Taylor Firth gets a JGP assignment. Those scores would have put her on the podium in the 2006 JGP.
